Dugong Patchwork Stuffed Toy

The Dugong (Philippine Sea Cow) stuffed toy has a front patchwork panel pieced together by the Barangay Pinyahan artisan community. The back panel has a functional pocket where you can put small keepsakes, handwritten  notes, or mementos.

We practice zero waste as our fabric scraps are utilized for Dugong’s inner filling. Its features are crafted from felt fabric with buttons for its eyes. The Dugong toy highlights this beautiful marine species that is endemic to the Philippines and raises awareness on ocean preservation.

You may opt to use it as a decorative piece in your home or as a toy for children to play with. This product was created through the Go Lokal! Project by the Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office (SBCDPO) at the Office of the Quezon City Mayor.
